We have enjoyed many good times at the David Duncan House and have lots of wonderful memories, last night even through these different times we went to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and again were not disappointed... the patio is beautiful and very spacious, food amazing and staff very attentive... thank you again for helping us make memories...!!!!!! I used to love this place. The first time I went there was 2014 and it was amazing. But recently try is on my birthday. The food was so different. The quality u can tell is not as good as before. And the steak is too soft that I think it’s not fresh. After we went home, we both woke up with stomachache and had serious diarrhea. I’m so sad it happens on my birthday and so sad the restaurant I used to love that becomes like this

Went to the David Duncan house as part of winterlicious and it was simply amazing! As you can tell from the pictures it was a filling/delicious meal. It was our first time trying the place and we will definitely be back! Service was great too, waiters are very friendly and funny (in a professional way). More “real” than some servers at other steakhouses. We will be back! Thank you for creating such a memorable winterlicious experience. We tried other restaurants and this was a stand out.

During Winterlicious, normal people can eat here. You sit up in the nosebleeds, but that's fun. Their special menu is great, and the portions are generous. Well worth it.

We attended the The David Duncan House Drive-In movie and it was a Spectacular Thrilling experience for me and my wife to say at the least. The atmosphere and their way of setup was a upper class of it's own. We normally do drive-in up north for out door movies and we have to say that the David Duncan House Movie Drive-In services really stands out and satisfied us. They are well organized, the food was excellent with great safety measures. We drove in with our new Bose speaker system setup in our classic BMW e23🇩🇪. We got chance to test it at the drive-in, amazing experience. It was like being at the movies with our own sound system.Their movie tickets are sold out very quick, so secure your spots online early.

I love the David Duncan house! Beautiful vibe especially the patio in the summer. High quality in terms of service and food! Highly recommended!

This restaurant is very beautiful. It has different levels for seating. It was very busy on a Saturday night. Excellent Cuisine. Excellent Service. Quite pricey. New Owners and it is even better now.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The team is very receptive and the cuisine they offer is so good. I never miss an opportunity to have a good meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Came here for Winterlicious and had a great experience. The food was superb, the staff attentive and ambiance was elegant. We had the salad and calamari to start, both delicious. Calamari was cooked perfectly, not too greasy. The entrees were Prime Rib (melts in your mouth) and chicken (wasn't dry, nice seasoning). The desserts tiramisu and cheesecake baklava were both very well done. Loved the decor! Definitely would return!

Some people think 3 stars is bad. I think it is OK. No more. No less. The reason I give 3 stars is because they have high end pricing so I will compare it to other high end places. For average price of $50 for only the meat (it is À la cart) then this is average. The wine was much better priced than most places. The staff were lovely. But please don’t bring my main before you have cleared the appetizer plates. I know you could have told the kitchen to hold it back😉

Went for lunch on a sunday and i enjoyed the prime rib sandwich. The space was comfortable and the fire place was turned on because it was really cold that day. It set a really nice ambiance for the date I was on. Service was polite. I would definitely go back!

Had a excellent experience in here with my daughter. The food arrives rapidly and the service is just good. Prices are convenient.

Visited here for a special occasion, overall it was very good. The bathroom looks like its for royalty and the whole decor of the place is amazing, definitely on par with something like The Octagon. The steak we ordered was the tableside combo that's just under $200, one word of caution, if you decide to order it, prepare to wait at least 45 minutes. But it's excellent. The French fries however, are disappointing in an establishment such as this, hardly any and they weren't that great. The dessert that's $25 is huge, tasted excellent as well. For the price point, this restaurant is nice, service was decent, though the very young gentleman who seems to be in his teens was a cut above the rest in terms of service, and he certainly deserves some recognition. The rest of the older men seem like they'd rather be doing something else.

Went for my girlfriends birthday. We ordered prime rib and seafood platter which was quiet expensive compare to its quality. We also had a cheesecake at the end. In the middle of the night both of us had a very bad stomach ache and diarrhea, almost to a point where it felt like food poisoning. It cost more then $200 for small portions of food and we had to suffer such a bad stomach ache. Will not go here again. I'm not sure whether it was the seafood, steak or the cheesecake that was bad. Maybe they were all bad. But yeah was not a pleasant experience. I am very careful with choosing food and I thought this place would be safe to eat. But this restaurant proved that having fancy decoration and atmosphere doesnt necessarily mean, safe clean food. I should have just bought good quality steak and cook at home. It would have saved much more money and less health issues.

Food is ok, nothing special, but I love the vibes there. Not too expensive, always good for date night or business talk. Another great thing is there is always availability for same day reservation or walk-in, so I don’t have to waste anytime with Keg or Joey.

This spot offers fantastic service as well as delightful food. My favourite restaurant in town. The meals served quickly and the prices were inexpensive. Recommended.

The Roast beef was chewy even on medium rare. They had difficulty getting a steak to rare. Save your money and go to The Keg for much, much, better service and way better food. This used to be one of my favourite places but since they have changed ownership the quality of service and food has hit rock bottom. The atmosphere is nice but there is nothing beneath the surface.

I will go back again. The staff are friendly and the site itself is just so lovely with the art deco details. The food...delicious. I have to say that the steak itself was enjoyable but not what stood out for me. It was all the details in the other foods that caught my attention: the handmade Caesar dressing, the fresh broccoli soup not too creamy, the tangy flavours in all the side dishes. The price is high but I enjoyed every bite. You'll definitely want to save up to come here! With the appetizer, side dishes and dessert added to the main, and no alcoholic beverages, it's about $120 per person.

I eat in this great restaurant often! This is the best place to eat. I go to this spot frequently. The food is very good, the staff is courteous and the payment is decent. I enjoy being in this place for a tasty supper.

This place is a little pricey but well worth it. The atmosphere is amazing, any table you sit at is cozy and personable. The staff is friendly with quick service. I only had some appetizers and drinks and I feel pretty full. It was my first time ever eating lobster bisque and wow! What a great soup. The calamari was fresh and lightly breaded, the way it's supposed to be. I will definitely be going back with a bigger appetite.

I frequent this superb restaurant every couple of days since I love the good air that is exist in this place. The crew is exceptionally welcoming and experienced. The service is exceptionally efficient. Needless to say, the food they prepare is great. I frequent more than once and I was never disappointed. The pay is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to to all.

Had a great lunch food quality was excellent. The servers know what they are doing Nico and George. Ordered the table side ceasar salad. It was a lunch meal in itself. The lobby entrance needs work . There was no Host ,just a coat check person receiving guests.

Delicious food, great service, cozy atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and very attentive without being annoying. The clam chowder was really good, loaded with clams and not fillers. Steaks were delicious, good size, very nicely prepared. Every thing we ordered did not disappoint but the desert stole the show! I would come back just for that! The bananas were amazing, a perfect end to a great meal. Entertaining, made fresh table side, and a perfect mix of flavours without being overly sweet.

Wow, solid spot. I was here today for lunch. Loved the food and the service. I will definitely return. The have a nice bar area with with a TV so that you can watch sporting events.

I attended the movie night last Friday and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was incredible and the overall vibe of the drive-in was like nothing I've ever been to before. I would definitely go back again!

This place is no doubt one of the best place to eat in the neighborhood. Every time I visit this place I am incredibly glad. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You always win with this place. Highly recommended.

I come to this unique restaurant once a month since I enjoy the ambiance that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is very helpful and skilfull. The service is exceptionally quick. Needless to say, the food you eat is highly distinguished. I have been there more than once and I was always delighted. The price is fair. I suggest this place to to everybody.

Celebrated a family birthday here - it was a great atmosphere but please, please change the Michael Bublé soundtrack. Food was pretty good, but not great. French onion soup, seafood platter, and cherries jubilee were particularly memorable choices - definitely recommend. The mashed potatoes were slightly dry, Brussel sprouts were lacklustre, and we ordered another side that never came (though we weren’t charged for it). Thankfully there was plenty to go around!

We came here for winterlicious. It was SO delicious that we had to come back twice in a week. Their calamari appetizer is portioned for two, and the calamari rings are incredibly soft and flavourful. The prime rib is out of this world, and they give you a spoonful of fresh horseradish on the side. The star dessert was the chocolate parfait - the dark chocolate ice cream topped with fresh whip, cherry drizzle, and toasted almonds reminds me of a delicious dessert I had as a kid. Great service in general. 5/5 experience!

Fantastic atmosphere and food! The restaurant is quite large on the inside and has a nice look to it, it's quite unique in that sense. Additionally, the food was delicious, can't go wrong with any of the steaks. I was a bit concerned coming here as I read some of the reviews which said the service/food quality were not the best, however, I did not have a problem with either. In fact, the service was quite pleasant overall. Highly recommend coming here!

Had reservations for NYE at a 5pm seating. It wasn't a busy seating but they constantly told us we had 2 hours. The new York striploin steak was not cooked properly and very fatty. The fries were black. They couldn't make a Apple martini. The chicken smelled and even the go to meal for the kids the chicken fingers will hard. Quite disappointed after eating this restaurant many times in the past.

The steak was just okay. A little too tough. Service is better than many places but fairly standard. The crab cake was the best part. The only place I would really recommend for crab cakes. I love that they gave us a slice of cake to celebrate my mother's birthday.

Food and service is great. A great big patio with a live DJ and the bartender makes excellent drinks. I don't drink much but he whipped me up something amazing!! Make sure to get the steak and their side of mushrooms. Mushrooms are to die for.

Best steakhouse in Toronto. Wonderful atmosphere. Little pricey but well worth it. Way better than The Keg.

Great place for fine dining, especially if you're looking for some steak. Had the calamari as an appetizer. It was crisp yet not overly battered. The NY strip was done to the way I like it, medium-rare, and it had just enough char for a crisp exterior without it being burnt. Would definitely recommend the food here.

Lots of parking. My wife and I had Great service they have coat check and the food was just delicious. We both recommend this place.
